Kuspuks and Snow Shirts

Make an adult or child’s kuspuk or snowshirt. Learn how to easily gather long ruffle pieces, as well as several easy options for beautiful trims. Even seasoned seamstresses will learn some new skills based on industry sewing techniques. Note: This is for the pullover summer kuspuk made from cotton fabric or thin-wale corduroy, NOT an insulated parka.

Purchase fabrics and trims according to pattern requirements.

If trims contain cotton, soak in hot water to pre-shrink.
Trace off or cut out appropriate size pattern (if you really do not know which to choose, bring pattern to first class and I can help there.)
